TDF-USA Bay Area Chapter
As part of lecture circuit by TDF
USA on the topic of 'Quest for Telangana State and Development: Perspectives
and Challenges’, Bay area chapter has organized its first ever meeting in
Bay area and attended by more than 75 people on Saturday 8th July at ICC
Milpitas center from 3 to 5 PM.
There was also a banquet organized in honor of them on 7th July at a local
restaurant and about 50 people have attended it and expressed their solidarity
with Telengana Intellengentia who are tirelessly working for Telangana area
development.
NRIs have traveled long distances to reach the venue in advance and were
eagerly waiting to hear the lectures by renowned author of
"Neellu-Nijalu" Sri Vidya Sagar Rao and Rtd Prof. Harinath, they were
anxiously enquiring about the current status of
Telangana issue before the start of the meeting itself. There were also
numerous telephone calls inquiring about various issues from the people who
could not come to the meeting.
The meeting was chaired by Visiting dignitaries from India Sri Vidya Sagar Rao,
Prof. Harinath Polasa, Prof .Surendar and Local TDF founder trustee Gade Gopal
Reddy and organized by Bay area chapter coordinators Gajula Buchanna, Venu
pavushetty and Murali Dugyala.
This meeting is started with
"Jaya jaya ye telangana"a song song by Arshad Hussain.
Speaking to the audience Gopal Reddy declared that TDF USA will leave no stone
unturned to the cause of Telangana Development and said that separate state
only will solve the issue of under development.
Sri R. Vidya Sagar has explained in detail about the negligence of
different governments towards regions development since formation of Andhra
Pradesh. He also explained to the audience about the inaction by local
politicians and Gulamgiri being made by them to the bosses which is giving a
serious blow to Telangana development. His explanation with the statistics has
attracted the attention of audience in a big manner. While answering a question
from audience he clarified that the development of Hyderabad need to be
separated from development of Telangana .He also requested Telangana NRIs to
raise their voice against Gov. Negligence particularly in the districts of
Nalgonda and Mahaboobnagar and Telangana in general.
Prof.Surender (AP SC/ST/BC Teachers
Association President) explained that there is a strong desire for
separate Telangana state in the public, Students, and employees, He is
very happy by looking at the Telangana NRIs Telanagana sentiment.
Prof. Harinath explained to the audience of how the under development in
Telangana is leading to the emigration of Labour from this region to different
parts of the nation in search of lively hood and those who ever remained are
being attracted towards the
Naxalism. There was a cheerful response from the audience when he said
separation is the only solution to the underdevelopment of Telangana.
At the end Vijay Chavva Coordinator of Paalmoor NRI Forum has expressed full
support from NRIs for the development of motherland and assured full support for
the cause of Telangana Development.
The other prominent telanganites attended meeting are: Pavan Muppidi, Rajesh,
Suresh,Vinodh, Jaipal Samula, Yugandhar Reddy, Venkat Reddy,
Ramesh,Nageshwar Rao.

songs, the meeting was ended with singing in full chorus of Jai Telangana Jai
Jai Telangana, women and Men have joined the chorus in a very enthusiastic way.
